Je suis vraiment déçu par mon séjour au Hôtel El Mouradi Mahdia, surtout pour un établissement classé 5 étoiles. La restauration est très en dessous des attentes : plats répétitifs, qualité moyenne, et très peu de choix au buffet. On s’attend à bien mieux dans ce type d’hôtel, surtout en début de saison touristique. Le plus surprenant (et décevant), c’est l’attitude du personnel : peu souriants, pas très disponibles, presque comme s’ils n’étaient pas motivés ou mal encadrés. On ne ressent pas l’accueil chaleureux habituel de la Tunisie. C’est triste de commencer la saison ainsi, surtout pour une destination qui dépend du tourisme. L’emplacement est agréable, et l’infrastructure a du potentiel, mais il y a clairement un gros travail à faire sur la qualité des services et la gestion du personnel.

My friend and I had a fabulous week , we came out to surprise her boyfriend who works at the hotel, Bibo is his name, all of the staff were so friendly and helpful, the food wasn’t great but it hadn’t fully opened for the season so we didn’t mind so much and it was mega cheap to go. Back to Bibo as he is known in the hotel or Brahim is his real name, what an awful person he is, my friend was his girlfriend for a year, he strings girls along, had 3 on the go at once with my friend being the longest running one. Well he also managed to accumulate a fiancé somewhere along the line as well, so that’s 4 young girls who’s lives have been turned inside out by this person called Bibo, this was all found out over the last 2 days, I don’t and can’t understand why. Be careful around this young man, he is far from genuine

Great hotel, met some great people but food and drink are very inadequate most of the food was inedible to our party it was either cold, full of bones or just plain disgusting apart from the cakes they were fantastic and choice was terrible and brits aren't catered for as for outside Beirut is prettier than mahdia as soon as I stepped out of a taxi near the medina I was accosted by yet another scamming beg thinking I was his meal ticket then what we were told was a lovely walk up around the cemetery and fort was a disgrace flea ridden cats everywhere accompanied by rubbish dumped everywhere and to to our disgust I thought Muslims respected they're dead only to discover the cemetery was the local fly tipping site never ever again

The animation team (Lucka and the others) is great! The food could be better, especially for those of us who don't eat meat. :) The rooms are nothing special, but since we spent the least amount of time in them, we managed just fine. We might come back.

After reading the reviews after I booked I was so worried, but after spending a week here it really isn’t that bad, the only downfalls are- the transfer is 3 hours. The food is repetitive , no sandwiches for lunch just breakfast dinner & dinner. No ice lollies either. Not really anything around so if you just want the beach and a pool this is perfect. The animation team here made my holiday, along with the bar staff and waiter they really do deserve a pay rise they have such long days and are so hard working! Always smiling and enthusiastic! My 6 month old had the best time due to the animation team. The hotel is clean and constantly being cleaned. Everyone is friendly. I probs wouldn’t come back due to food and not anything really to do near by but we made the most of it! Also the staff here are on around £5 a day in English money Wich is so sad because they are so hard working!

I don't get why people expect 5 star in Tunisia as you would get in Europe, hotel is amazing the staff can't do enough for you, room was huge cleaner was in everyday, reception staff ask anything they would help, bar staff work there arses off people complaining about paper cups your drinking outside if you ask for a glass you will get one, pool area is amazing beach is amazing the best part of my holiday where the animation team i travel alot and these guys are by far the best❤️, its Tunisia the food isn't great but thats Tunisia it's like that everywhere there but i cant fault this hotel and a big shout out to momo and saif from animation i will definitely come back regardless of all the karens moaning ♥️♥️and the lady by reception she sots opposite it and will help you with anything you need ♥️

No management no service no internet in room no kettle for tea coffee in room no water bottle in room for water bottles u have to go in lobby to get water n for wifi food no variety n same type of food every second day very minimal staff phones not working in room
